Event Details

We’ve waited years to make this happen and it’s finally here – the big Spiegeltent NYE bash!

We’ll be bursting out of the Spiegeltent and creating three extra spaces around it to bring you a massive line-up of DJs, dance heavy live acts, raucous cabaret, immersive theatre, silliness, glitter, party poppers and free pizza…

Get down in the heart of The Spiegeltent with a super sonic genre defying set from Leftfield founding father Paul Daley, an eclectic journey through the dance music cosmos with party crowd pleaser Tom Middleton, live funky jazz and hip hop action from the mighty Herbaliser and acclaimed MC Rodney P, and fat grooves from vinyl supremo John Stapleton - plus circus, walkabout performers and other surprises throughout the night.

Immerse yourself in the heavy basslines and carnival rhythms blasting out of The Bristol Hi-Fi sound system courtesy of a live show from Trinidadian/Bristolian riddim kings Jus Now, an exclusive live performance from Reprazent’s Onallee, some Sweet Memory Sounds from Count Skylarkin in his tribute to DJ Derek, and bass-bin bothering business from Bristol Hi-Fi’s Queen Bee and Mr Benn.

For a proper rave up join the whistle posse beneath The Rave Cave lasers for a trip back to ‘91 with old skool classic anthems from the legendary Mr Micky Finn, era-defining underground sounds from Shades of Rhythm, and long-time free party scene stalwart Jamie Rainbow.

And don’t forget to book a seat to be dazzled by the wild and wonderful performers starring in our decadent Cabaret Lounge show including a raunchy reimagining of 1930's Berlin with Rodney & Alexandra, a hilarious and just-a-little-risqué routine from horse obsessed/possessed Flick Ferdinando on a pommel, plastic toy musical mayhem by the wonder that is Kid Carpet, firey tricks from Shadowspin Fire Crew, and comic high jinks from your hosts Dave Id & Kim. Plus, immersive theatre will be taking place all around the venue courtesy of Food and Theatre Company.

So – as you can see – staying in on NYE is no longer the new going out because we’ve given you a big fat reason to get up, book a sitter, call up the crew, dust off your hot pants, buy a new shirt and roll, rally or rumble down to the Spiegeltent for one helluva night to welcome in 2017!

We’ve got butterflies already…
